Register for Community Based Enterprise Week

Pingree's Potato Patch
Studying the Economics of Detroit

As part of my work with the Center for Community Based Enterprise, I've been helping organize for the upcoming CBE Week, a series of events in Detroit running September 22-24 presenting examples of how cooperatives have been used successfully as a base for developing wealth in impoverished communities. The main draw is that we've got Mikel Lezamiz coming from Spain's Modragon Cooperative Corporation, the world's largest network of worker-owned cooperatives, composed of over 100 companies and earning billions of euros each year. All of the events are open to the public, so please feel free to register for any events which interest you.
